14. Feb 10, 2021 #1. I have just purchased a motorhome which is on a 2007 65c18 cab chassis. It has developed a fault whereas the park brake light and alarm comes on intermittently while driving. The fault also occurred while at home so I definitely know when the fault is present there is no voltage on the switch attached to the handbrake even #1 · Aug 18, 2015 (Edited) I have a '13 825i, I couldn't find where this had been covered previously, but my parking brake warning is now beeping continuously. In the normal state, it only beeps if you try to put the machine in gear when the parking brake is set. Any ideas how to start chasing this one down? Pull the parking brake switch and keep it for 10 seconds, then release it. Start the engine, and the light, in most cases, will turn off. Here is a list of common problems that cause the Parking Brake to stay on. I'm thinking of just taking everything off the wheel, cleaning it all and plugging it all back in but does anyone else have anything else to suggest while I'm there ? I've noticed I can get the parking brake sensor box for about £40 but not even sure where this is let alone if it'll do the trick. I took my less than one month old truck into service because when I release the parking brake, the light and the warning stays on. I have to set and release it a few times, maybe jiggle the handle, for it to go off.
Parking brake "engaged" light won't turn off I spent the last 3 days working on the interior of my 2013 SCrew XLT 4x4. I had the negative battery terminal disconnected the whole time, with the exception of reconnecting to move the electric driver's seat to get to all the bolts once to remove the seat and again to reinstall.
